Cancellation Policy
Each evening is arranged in advance with the geiko, the restaurant, the bar and an English-speaking guide. Because those arrangements cannot always be released at short notice, the following charges apply.

How the days are counted
Charges are counted from the date of the experience, in Japan Standard Time. For an evening on 15 October: free until 7 October, 50% from 8 to 13 October, and 100% on 14 and 15 October.
How to cancel
Please email info@kahachi.com from the address used for your booking. The time your message reaches us is what counts. We do not accept cancellations by telephone alone, to avoid any misunderstanding.
Refunds
Any balance after the cancellation fee is returned to the card used for payment. Depending on your card issuer, it may take from several days to about a month to appear. We cover the cost of processing the refund.
Changing the number of guests
Reducing your party size is treated at the same rates above. If you would like to add guests, we will confirm whether the arrangements allow it.
If we cancel
If the geiko performance is called off, a partner venue closes unexpectedly, or we are otherwise unable to run the evening, you receive a full refund. We will do what we can to offer an alternative date if you would like one.
Severe weather and natural events
If a typhoon, earthquake, heavy snow or similar makes it unsafe to proceed, you receive a full refund. We do not cancel for rain alone — traditional umbrellas are provided for the night walk.
Late arrival and leaving early
If you arrive after the meeting time, you may miss part of the evening. No refund is available in that case, and the same applies if you choose to leave partway through.
Minimum numbers
If a plan does not reach its minimum party size, we will tell you no later than 7 days before the date and refund you in full.
For plans that include a MEET the GEIKO ticket, the performance organiser's own terms may also apply. We will tell you if that is the case when your booking is confirmed.
