1. What we collect

When you book or contact us, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The performance date you wish to attend
• The number of guests (adults and children)
• The plan you have chosen
• Any allergies or dietary requirements

Information about allergies and dietary requirements relates to your health. We collect it only so our partner restaurants can serve you safely, and providing it is optional.

2. Why we use it

• To confirm, amend or cancel your booking and to contact you about it
• To make arrangements with restaurants, bars, the geiko performance and your guide
• To adjust the menu for allergies and dietary requirements
• To process payment and any refund
• To answer your enquiry
• To keep records required by Japanese travel law and other regulations

We will ask your consent before using your information for anything else.

3. Who else sees it

We pass the minimum necessary information to the partners who deliver your evening:

• Partner restaurants and bars — your name, party size, expected arrival time, dietary requirements
• The organiser of the geiko performance — your name and party size
• Partner restaurants and bars — your name, party size, dietary needs and a contact number for the day

These disclosures are necessary to run the experience you booked. We do not share your information with anyone else without your consent, except where the law requires it. We never sell personal information.

4. Service providers

We use the following providers:

• Stripe, Inc. (payment processing) — your name, email address and booking details. Card numbers go directly to Stripe; we never hold them.
• Vercel Inc. (website hosting) — technical access logs

These providers may hold data on servers outside Japan. By making a booking you agree to this handling.

5. Keeping it safe

Our website is encrypted (HTTPS) throughout. Access to your information is limited to those who need it for the work, and we delete what is no longer needed.

6. How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for the period required by Japanese travel and tax law — as a rule five years after the experience — and deleted afterwards. If you only made an enquiry, we delete it within one year of closing the matter.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to move you safely to the payment page. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to disclose, correct, add to, delete or stop using your personal information. Contact us at the address below; we will verify your identity and respond as the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as the law or our services change. Any significant change will be posted on this page.
